Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

7. And thus We have revealed to you this Qur’an in Arabic, so that you may warn the people of Makkah and those around it [5], and warn them of the Day of Gathering, about which there is no doubt. On that Day, a group will be in Paradise [6] and another group in the Fire.

[5]
The Quran is Guidance for the Whole World:

By ﴿اُمُّ الْقُرَيٰ﴾ is meant the central town or the major city, and by this is meant Makkah al-Mukarramah, where the House of Allah is present, and which has been made a center for the gathering of all the people of the world. And by its surroundings is not meant only the nearby areas or country, but rather the entire surface of the earth is intended, because it has been made the center of the whole earth. Thus, in this verse, a few fundamental points have been mentioned very concisely. One is that the Quran has been revealed in the language of the Arabs themselves, so that there should be no difficulty in understanding or explaining it, and people should not remain dependent on a specific type of scholars, but rather all the Arabs can benefit from it directly. The second is that your call is not only for the people of Makkah, but for the whole world. And the third is that the basic purpose of your Prophethood is that you fully warn all the people of the world about the events that will occur on the Day of Resurrection and the reward and punishment for their deeds.

[6] That is, all the humans and jinn who have been created will be gathered together on that day. In the world, there are many religions, and then each religion has dozens of sects. But on that day, all creation will be divided into only two groups: one, the people of Paradise; the other, the people of Hell. The mention of a third group, the people of A'raf, has also come in Surah Al-A'raf, but that group will not be a permanent group; rather, sooner or later, they will join the people of Paradise.
