Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

44. And whomever Allah lets go astray [62], there is no protector for him after that. And you will see the wrongdoers, when they see the punishment, saying: "Is there any way [63] to return?"

[62] That is, those people were given the Book which is the best book for human guidance, and the Messenger was sent whose lofty character and conduct even they could not doubt. Yet, if these people do not accept guidance, then Allah never gives guidance to such people.
[63] That is, today in this world they may cling to their state of rebellion, but they do not turn back, and on that Day there will be no opportunity to change their state, so on that Day they will ask for a way to return. And its other meaning is that they will ask if there is any way for us to return to the world so that we too may do righteous deeds.
