Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

50. They will say: "Did not your messengers come to you with clear proofs [64]?" They will reply: "Yes, they did." The keepers will say: "Then pray (yourselves) [65], but the prayer of the disbelievers is only in vain [66]."

[64] They will say that intercession can only be made on the basis of some excuse. But you did not leave any room for excuse, so what can we say in intercession? Either you should say that no messenger came to us, nor did Allah’s message reach us. And when Allah’s messengers came to you with clear proofs and informed you of every possible outcome, then on what basis can intercession be made?

[65] This is the second answer of the angels: that our job is not to intercede, and the task that is ours, we are indeed performing. Intercession is the work of the messengers, and by opposing them you have already angered them. Therefore, now try praying for yourselves.

[66] That is, it proves to be ineffective, fruitless, and useless. The call of the disbelievers does not reach Allah at all; it gets lost along the way.
