Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

27. And Moses said, "Indeed, I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord from every arrogant one who does not believe in the Day [37] of Reckoning."

Only Those Who Deny the Hereafter Can Be Arrogant and Oppressive:

Whether Pharaoh spoke of killing Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) in his presence or Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) learned of Pharaoh’s threat through some intermediary, in any case, when he heard this, he said to his people: I do not care at all about such threats from Pharaoh. Not only Pharaoh alone, even if all the arrogant and tyrants of the world gather together, they cannot harm me in the least, because I have placed myself in the protection of my Lord, and He is sufficient to save me from their evil. Incidentally, from this verse it is also understood that only those people can be arrogant, tyrannical, and oppressive who do not believe in the Day of Resurrection.
