Those who disbelieve will be addressed (at the time of entering the Fire): "Allâh’s aversion was greater towards you (in the worldly life when you used to reject the Faith) than your aversion towards one another (now in the Fire of Hell, as you are now enemies to one another), when you were called to the Faith but you used to refuse."

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

10. And those who disbelieved will be called out (on the Day of Judgment): "The anger you feel for yourselves [13] today was less than Allah's anger for you, when you were invited to faith but you used to deny."

[13] That is, when they will see that the things they used to mock have become a reality before them, and the wayward life they had led, and the various tactics they used to oppress the believers—all these things will be repaid to them one by one. Then they will bite their hands in regret and will be angry at themselves for having chosen such a rebellious path. At that time, the angels will call out to them, saying that today, as much as you are angry at yourselves, Allah was even more angry with you when the Messenger used to invite you towards Allah and recite His verses to you, but you would not listen at all, and if you did listen, you would not accept and would start mocking them.
