Those who believe, fight in the Cause of Allâh, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Tâghût (Satan). So fight you against the friends of Shaitân (Satan). Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaitân (Satan).

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

76. Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of Taghut [105]. So fight against the allies of Satan. Surely, the plot of Satan is ever weak.

[105]
Temporary and Political Unity is a Satanic Unity Whose Foundation is Weak:

Here, by "Taghut" is meant the individual chieftainships of the leaders of Quraysh, as well as the chieftainships of the leaders of the Jews and other Arab tribes. Through these, their dominance over the people was established. As Allah granted Islam progress, these leaders began to see their chieftainships becoming unstable and shaky, so they started confronting the Muslims. In other words, all the nations hostile to Islam would unite against the Muslims and become ready to eradicate Islam, and this unity of disbelief against Islam was, in reality, a satanic unity, and it was merely a temporary and political alliance. Otherwise, the mutual differences among the nations included in this alliance still existed as before. Therefore, Allah Almighty guided the Muslims to confront this satanic army with full courage and bravery, because the very foundation of their unity is weak.
