Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

152. But those who believe in Allah and all His messengers and do not make any distinction among them [201], to them Allah will grant their rewards. And Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[201]
The Superiority of Some Messengers Over Others:

This is because the very condition of true faith is to believe in Allah and all His messengers and prophets, and not to make any distinction among them. And making a distinction can have two meanings: one is to believe in some and not in others; and the second is to consider all equal in the rank of prophethood. In this regard, the Prophet ﷺ said, "No one should say that I am superior to Yunus bin Matta." [بخاری، کتاب التفسیر، سورۃ انعام۔ باب و یونس و لوطاً و کلاً فضلنا]
As for other virtues besides prophethood, such virtues of one prophet over another are explicitly mentioned in the Book and Sunnah, and in this regard, you ﷺ are the most superior of the prophets. And only the faith of those who bring such true faith will be accepted by Allah, and they will be given the full reward for their deeds.
