Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

133. O people! If Allah wills, He can remove you and bring others in your place [176], and Allah is fully capable of that.

[176] And when this phrase is repeated for the third time, its implication is regarding the future conditions of the Muslims, meaning: O Muslims! If you disobey Allah, His affairs are not dependent on you. He has full power to, in such a case, bring forth another nation and, through them, have you defeated and pushed back, just as the Jews, when they became involved in disobedience and wickedness, were defeated and pushed back by the Christians. And now, through your hands, He is having both of them defeated. Allah’s purpose is to elevate His religion, so whoever is capable of continuing Allah’s mission, He will bring them forward. Therefore, your own benefit lies in remaining obedient to Him.
