Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

109. Behold! You are those who argued on their behalf in the life of this world, but who will argue with Allah for them on the Day of Resurrection, or who will be their defender [148]?

[148] This address is to the supporters of the hypocrite thief: even if today you become supporters of the thief, then tomorrow on the Day of Resurrection, who among you will advocate for him before Allah, when your own sin will be sufficient against you. Incidentally, from this incident it is understood that finding stolen goods in someone's possession is not definite proof that he is actually the thief; therefore, in such matters, utmost investigation and caution are necessary. For this reason, the Prophet ﷺ has given many instructions regarding the establishment of hudud (punishments), which have been mentioned at another appropriate place.
