سُوْرَةُ الزُّمَرِ
Surah Az-Zumar (39) — Ayah 65
وَلَقَدْ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكَ لَئِنْ أَشْرَكْتَ لَيَحْبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ ﴿65﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
And indeed it has been revealed to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), as it was to those (Allâh’s Messengers) before you: "If you join others in worship with Allâh, (then) surely (all) your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the losers."

Yet it has already been revealed to you and to those before you that if you associate partners with Allah, your deeds will surely be nullified [82], and you will certainly be among the losers.
[82] It should be clear that the occurrence of shirk from the Prophets is impossible. Because among the foremost objectives for which they are sent is the eradication of shirk and the propagation of tawheed. They themselves adhere to this and invite others towards it. Here, where this matter is addressed to you, the purpose is to express the utmost condemnation of shirk.
