Surah Az-Zumar (39) — Ayah 57

أَوْ تَقُولَ لَوْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هَدَىٰنِى لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ ﴿57﴾
Or (lest) he should say: "If only Allâh had guided me, I should indeed have been among the Muttaqûn (the pious - See V.2:2)."
أَوْ aw Or
تَقُولَ taqūla it should say
لَوْ law If that
أَنَّ anna If that
ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah
هَدَىٰنِى hadānī (had) guided me
لَكُنتُ lakuntu surely, I (would) have been
مِنَ mina among
ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ l-mutaqīna the righteous
