And he (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) who has brought the truth (this Qur’ân and Islâmic Monotheism) and (those who) believed therein (i.e. the true believers of Islâmic Monotheism), those are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - See V.2:2).

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

33. And the one who brings the truth and the one who confirms it [49]—they are the righteous.

[49] This verse is the counterpart of the previous verse. Its referent can be one person or two different ones. That is, the person who himself presents the truth, always speaks the truth, and if a true statement is presented before him, he affirms it—such a person is truly righteous. In the second case, the one who speaks the truth is the Messenger, and those who affirm him are the believers. And such people are those who fear Allah.
