Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

31. Then on the Day of Resurrection, you will all present your cases before your Lord [47].

What kinds of people will dispute with each other before Allah?

These disputes will be of several kinds. The oppressed will seize the oppressor by the collar and present him before Allah, presenting arguments about the oppression he suffered. The second type is that the disbelievers and polytheists will deny their crimes. Then, the testimonies of the Messengers and the believers will be presented against them. After that, their own limbs will testify against them. The third type is that Allah Himself will decide the disputes between the people of truth and the people of falsehood, or between the monotheists and the polytheists. The fourth type will be the dispute between the polytheists and their deities, or between the leaders and their followers. Both will lay blame on each other. In short, there will be many kinds of disputes, all of which will be decided in Allah’s court with utmost justice.
