Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
27. Indeed, We have set forth for mankind every kind of example [42] in this Qur’an, so that they may take heed.
[42] This may also mean that We have presented every kind of example with arguments in refutation of shirk, so that people may have no difficulty in understanding the real truth. And it may also refer to all the necessary matters of religion, including commands and prohibitions. Such fundamental matters are all present in the Quran, and their meaning and explanation become completely clear through the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. That is, every person can obtain all the guidance related to religion from the Book and the Sunnah. And for the protection of his religion, the Noble Quran and Hadith are sufficient for him.
