Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

75. Allah said to him: O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating to the one whom I created with My own hands [70]? Were you arrogant, or are you among the exalted ones [71]?

The Hands and Feet of Allah Almighty:

Allah Almighty has clearly stated that He created Adam’s figure with His own two hands. From this, the honor and superiority of Adam ؑ and the children of Adam over all things in the universe is established. Secondly, this refutes Darwin’s theory of evolution. Thirdly, it is a response to those who completely deny that Allah has hands, eyes, feet, etc. Their basis of reasoning is that since Allah’s Being is present everywhere, how can He have hands and feet? Therefore, they consider it necessary to interpret such verses and words. The answer to this is that Allah is present everywhere in terms of His attributes such as knowledge and power, but His Being is above the Throne. Then, when Allah Himself explicitly mentions His hands, feet, and eyes, who else can declare His transcendence better than Him? Even if He mentioned His hands, feet, etc., for our understanding, still, they do exist. As for how His hands, eyes, and feet are, we are neither responsible to understand this nor are we able to comprehend it. Our safety lies only in accepting whatever Allah Almighty says as it is.
