سُوْرَةُ صٓ
Surah Saad (38) — Ayah 63
أَتَّخَذْنَـٰهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ ﴿63﴾

Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?"

"Did we take them in ridicule, or have our eyes missed them [63]?"
[63] That is, the chieftains and leaders will say among themselves: those people whom we used to consider lowly and inferior, what is the matter, we do not see them anywhere today. Now, there are only two possibilities: either they are somewhere here and hidden from our sight, or it is possible that we were mistaken in considering them lowly and mocking them, and in reality, they were good people and have been saved from this punishment.
