سُوْرَةُ صٓ
Surah Saad (38) — Ayah 10
أَمْ لَهُم مُّلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ فَلْيَرْتَقُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَسْبَـٰبِ ﴿10﴾

Or is it that the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them is theirs? If so, let them ascend up with means (to the heavens)!

10. Or do they own the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them? (If so,) let them ascend by means of ropes [12].

If that is the case, then they should employ all means at their disposal to stop the revelation to you ﷺ, and direct the course of revelation towards whomever they wish to select for prophethood.
