Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

75. And Noah called upon Us [43], and see how excellent [44] are We in answering prayers.

The Curse of Nuh (Noah) ؑ and Its Acceptance:

Sayyiduna Nuh (Noah) ؑ strove with his people for nine hundred and fifty years. He explained to them with arguments and left no stone unturned in trying to make them understand in various ways. But those people did not accept a single thing from him. On the contrary, they mocked him and caused him harm. During this long period, only a few people believed in him. Then, when he became completely hopeless regarding his people—that now, none of the remaining people seemed likely to believe, and all were intent on harming him and his companions—at that time, he pleaded before Allah: O Allah! These people have overpowered me, so You alone can take revenge on them and grant me deliverance from these wrongdoers.
[44] That is, We heard the plea of Sayyiduna Nuh ؑ, so We responded to his call. We removed his distress and granted him deliverance from the wrongdoers. Because it is Our responsibility that, in the battle between truth and falsehood, We respond to the pleas of the believers and save them from the wrongdoers.
