بَلْ جَآءَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿37﴾
Nay! he (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) has come with the truth (i.e. Allâh’s religion - Islâmic Monotheism and this Qur’ân) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allâh’s religion - Islâmic Monotheism).
بَلْ bal Nay
جَآءَ jāa he has brought
بِٱلْحَقِّ bil-ḥaqi the truth
وَصَدَّقَ waṣaddaqa and confirmed
ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ l-mur'salīna the Messengers

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

37. Yet he (the Messenger) came with the truth and confirmed the (earlier) messengers [20].

Despite the Difference in Time, the Similarity in the Prophet’s Teachings is Proof of Their Truth:

The speech presented by the Messenger is neither magical words nor tales and allegorical stories, rather his teachings are based on solid realities. The Prophet affirms the messengers before him and their teachings, even though there are hundreds of years between their times. Despite this difference in time, the similarity in the teachings of the messengers is a strong proof of their truth and the truth of their teachings.
