Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

77. Does man not see that We created him from a drop of fluid? Yet, behold, turning away from the realities, he becomes an open [69] adversary.

[69] The reality of man is that he was created from a drop of fluid that was made from lifeless substances. Then Allah breathed a soul into him, and not only did he begin to move, eat, drink, and grow like other living beings, but he was also endowed with intellect, understanding, the power of deduction, reasoning, and the abilities of speech and eloquence that no other creature possessed. And when he reached this stage, he began to raise various arguments and disputes about his Creator.
