سُوْرَةُ يٰسٓ
Surah Yaseen (36) — Ayah 68
وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ ۖ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ ﴿68﴾

And he whom We grant long life - We reverse him in creation (weakness after strength). Will they not then understand?

The State of Childhood in Old Age:
When a human is born, all his faculties are in a state of development. But when he passes beyond youth, all these faculties begin to decline. Just as in childhood he was dependent on support to walk, so too in old age he becomes dependent. His strength, his courage, his resolve, his intellect—in short, everything declines to such an extent that he becomes like a child. And in this entire process, the human is utterly helpless. Does he still not understand that if We so willed, We could make him blind, cripple him, disfigure him, and whether he wishes or not, We can resurrect him again and punish him for his sins?
