Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
The Merciful Lord will say, "Peace [53] be upon you."
[53] To these people of Paradise, their Merciful Lord will say "Peace." Whether this greeting of peace comes from Allah through the mediation of angels, or Allah Himself addresses them directly. For the conditions of the Hereafter will not be like those of this world. In this world, no person can see Allah with their physical eyes. But in Paradise, the people of Paradise will be able to see Allah just as we look at the moon here and feel comfort. In this world, no one has seen Allah, although Allah did speak directly and without any intermediary to Sayyiduna Musa ؑ. Therefore, in the Hereafter, it will be all the more possible for Allah to converse with the people of Paradise and for the people of Paradise to converse with Allah.
