5. It is a revelation sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful [4].
[4] That is, the One Who has revealed this Wise Quran is not some weak kind of advisor who has sent down a few commands and pieces of advice, such that if you accept them, it is good, and if you ignore them, no harm will come to you. Rather, the One Who has revealed it is the Sovereign of the universe, Who is dominant over all, and has the power to enforce His decisions. And He is Merciful in the sense that He has shown great kindness to you by sending this Quran and this Prophet for your guidance, so that you may be saved from misguidance and attain success in this world and the Hereafter.
