سُوْرَةُ يٰسٓ
Surah Yaseen (36) — Ayah 27
بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ ﴿27﴾

27. how my Lord has forgiven me [29] and made me one of the honored."
[29] His people had become such enemies to him that they killed him. Yet his character was so lofty that, instead of cursing his mortal enemies, only words of goodwill and well-wishing for them came to his mind. If he had any wish, it was only that his people might come to know how greatly Allah had honored and favored him—so that perhaps they too would believe. By narrating this story, in fact, Allah Almighty has encouraged the disbelievers of Makkah that just as that righteous man was a true sympathizer and well-wisher of his people, so too is Muhammad ﷺ your true well-wisher.
