Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

22. And why should I not worship the One who created me [24], and to Him you will all be returned [25]?

[24] The third thing that the righteous man explained, he did not address the people directly so that they would not become offended, but instead attributed it to himself, saying that he personally believes that only the Being who created him is worthy of worship, and that is why he worships only Him. And those beings besides Allah whom you have taken as fulfillers of your needs have no share in creating or providing for me, so why should I call upon them and why should I worship them?

[25] The fourth thing he explained was regarding their end: that ultimately, all of you have to die, and all your souls are in Allah’s control. And you will have to return to that Being whose worship you object to today, and you become hostile to the one who tries to make you understand this. So, you yourselves should think about what your end could be.
