Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
4. (O Prophet!) If they deny you [7], then surely messengers before you were also denied. And to Allah all matters will be returned.
[7] This theme has appeared numerous times in the Quran. In fact, it would not be incorrect to say that it is found in most of the Makki surahs. During the thirteen-year Makkan period, the disbelievers of Makkah persistently opposed you, and in this regard, they used the lowest of tactics. They inflicted harm, continued to deny, and mocked as well. Meanwhile, the Muslims were only commanded to endure all these things with patience and perseverance. However, Allah Almighty repeatedly revealed such phrases to comfort and encourage the Prophet of Islam and the Muslims, assuring them that there is nothing to worry about. In the struggle between truth and falsehood, previous messengers were treated in the same way, and the decision and outcome of any matter are not in the hands of these people; rather, the outcome and decision of all matters are in the hands of Allah. Therefore, remain content and place your trust in Allah.
