Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
O mankind! You are all in need of Allah [23], while He is the Self-Sufficient, the Praiseworthy.
[23] This address is to all the people of the worlds: for your health, your sustenance, the preservation of your life—in short, for every single thing—you are in need of Allah. For your sustenance and the continuation of your life, Allah has put various things in the universe to work for you. If He were to remove even one of them, you would not be able to survive. The need for other necessities comes later, and the majesty of Allah is such that He is not in need of any human being, nor of anything in the universe. He is, in His essence, self-subsisting and everlasting from eternity to eternity. Even if no one praises Him, He is, in Himself, praiseworthy.
