Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Yet We did not give them (the disbelievers of Makkah) any books which they could read [68], nor did We send to them any warner before you.

[68] That is, neither did any prophet come to them, nor was any book of Allah revealed to them that would teach or at least support the idea that the ancestral and polytheistic religion they are following is the true religion. In other words, they have no proof for the truth of their religion. These people are simply content with the fact that this is their ancestral religion. They have neither any argument to deny you, nor any evidence to prove the correctness of their polytheistic beliefs.
