وَٱلَّذِينَ يَسْعَوْنَ فِىٓ ءَايَـٰتِنَا مُعَـٰجِزِينَ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ مُحْضَرُونَ ﴿38﴾
And those who strive against Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), to frustrate them, they will be brought to the torment.
وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhīna And those who
يَسْعَوْنَ yasʿawna strive
فِىٓ against
ءَايَـٰتِنَا āyātinā Our Verses
مُعَـٰجِزِينَ muʿājizīna (to) cause failure
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ulāika those
فِى into
ٱلْعَذَابِ l-ʿadhābi the punishment
مُحْضَرُونَ muḥ'ḍarūna (will be) brought

38. But those who strive to discredit Our signs—they will be brought forth into the punishment. [58]

[58] By “humiliating” is meant mocking them, not accepting them, placing obstacles in the path of Allah, causing harm to the believers, and devising such schemes and conspiracies by which they can weaken or destroy Islam. All these things are included.
