Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

The disbelievers say, "The Hour will not come upon us." Say, "Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come upon you! By the Lord who knows the unseen [5]. Not even the weight of a particle in the heavens or the earth is hidden from Him, nor anything smaller or greater, but it is recorded in a clear Book [6]."

[5] When there is no apparent evidence for a claim, or the addressee denies accepting it, then the claim is affirmed by swearing an oath by Allah. Here, the one swearing the oath is the person whom the disbelievers of Makkah considered truthful and trustworthy. Firstly, they should have believed in this matter or claim because he is truthful and trustworthy. Secondly, he is affirming his claim by swearing an oath by Allah. And incidentally, the result of this is that knowledge of the Hour can only be with the One who is Knower of the unseen, and that is only Allah, the Exalted.
[6] That is, Allah is not only aware of every small and large, hidden and manifest thing in the universe, but every small or large event or incident that is to occur in the universe is already written with Him. So when such a Being is informing about the occurrence of the Hour, then what doubt or uncertainty can there be in it?
