25. Say, “You will not be questioned about the sins we committed, nor will we be questioned about what you do [40].”
[40] The next point is that intellect and understanding have been given to all of us equally. If you, by deriving an incorrect conclusion from an accepted principle and establishing your way of life upon it, then we cannot be held responsible for that. And if, for the sake of argument, we have drawn an incorrect conclusion and acted upon it, then you will not be questioned about us. Each one is himself answerable and responsible for his own deeds.
