Surah As-Sajda (32) — Ayah 8
ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسْلَهُۥ مِن سُلَـٰلَةٍ مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ ﴿8﴾

In Every Sperm Cell of the Drop, There is a Reflection of the Appearance, Habits, and Traits of the Owner of the Drop:
In these two verses, Allah Almighty has drawn attention to two of His important creative acts. The first is that Allah Almighty, after passing clay through various stages, fashioned the figure of man with His own hand, then breathed into it a spirit from Himself, and thus a marvelous and magnificent being came into existence. In it were present intellect and consciousness, the power of will and choice, and the ability to distinguish and deduce—all of which made him capable of bearing the responsibility of vicegerency on earth. And Allah’s second marvelous creative act is that He then continued the progeny of man through the drop (of semen) and procreation, from which millions of human beings continue to be born. What is this drop? The sages say that it comes into existence as a result of the fourth digestion, while blood is produced after the third digestion. Then, in every drop of this semen, there are thousands of sperm cells, and in each sperm cell, the appearance, habits, and traits of the original human being are present. It is as if every single sperm cell of the drop is the smallest and most complete reflection of that thing, which can only be seen through a powerful microscope.
