Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

15. Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded of them, fall down in prostration [17] and glorify the praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant.

[17] The qualities of those who believe are completely different from those who deny. There is no stubbornness, obstinacy, or enmity in their hearts; their natures are so pure that they are immediately ready to accept the truth. There is not a trace of arrogance or pride in them. Rather, when the wonders and acts of Allah are mentioned to them, their hearts tremble at the greatness of Allah, and they are immediately ready to accept the truth. Then they fall in prostration before Allah, and their tongues are filled with the praise, glorification, and sanctification of Allah. There is a prostration (sajdah) at this verse. Those who read or listen to it should perform sajdah here, so that they too may be included among those qualities which Allah has described for the believers. And Hazrat Abu Hurairah ؓ says that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite: ﴿الم تنزِيل السجدة﴾ and ﴿هَلْ اَتٰي عَلَي الْاِنْسَانِ﴾ in the Fajr prayer on Fridays.
