Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

And do not turn your cheek away from people out of arrogance, nor walk proudly upon the earth. Surely, Allah does not like anyone who is self-conceited [24] and boastful.

Arrogant Behaviors:

To speak with puffed cheeks and to walk with swagger—these are all the manners of the self-admiring and the arrogant. From the speech, appearance, and gait of arrogant people—in short, from every gesture—it becomes apparent that this person considers himself to be much above others, and Allah Almighty finds every action of such people extremely displeasing [مزيد تشريح كے لئے ديكهئے سورة بني اسرائيل كي آيت نمبر 37 كا حاشيه نمبر 47 اور سورة الفرقان كي آيت نمبر 63 كا حاشيه نمبر 80]
