Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

60. So be patient. Surely, the promise of Allah is true [66]. And let not those who have no certainty make you lose resolve [67].

[66] This promise of Allah has already been mentioned in verse 47 of this Surah, and it is: ﴿حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ﴾ meaning that it is Allah’s responsibility to help the believers. You should be patient over the harms caused by the disbelievers, both yourself and by advising the Muslims to be patient and forbearing as well. Allah’s promise will certainly be fulfilled at its appointed time.

[67] That is, your steadfastness should never waver due to the schemes and conspiracies of these disbelievers, their mockery and ridicule, their anti-Islamic activities, their harms and oppressions, their hypocritical attempts at compromise, and their threats. They should come to realize that you are such a magnificent embodiment of patience and steadfastness in your mission that you cannot be moved from your place at any cost.
