وَإِن كَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن قَبْلِهِۦ لَمُبْلِسِينَ ﴿49﴾
And verily before that (rain) - just before it was sent down upon them - they were in despair!
وَإِن wa-in And certainly
