Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

28. Allah sets forth for you a parable from your own selves: Do you have among those whom your right hands possess any partners in what We have provided for you, so that you are equal therein, fearing them as you fear each other [28]? Thus does Allah make clear His signs for people who use their reason.

How is Shirk the Greatest Injustice? An Explanation with an Example:

That is, this example is according to your situation, through which the matter can easily be understood by you. The example is that suppose you have some slaves. Can you distribute your wealth and property among those slaves so that they become your equals? You would be so afraid of this matter as you are afraid of those brothers and relatives who are already partners in your property. If you start making any decisions regarding this joint property, they can stop you, hold you accountable, and even demand the division of the joint property. Now, if you make your slaves equal partners in your property, then despite them being your slaves, you would certainly face the same dangers from them, and you would never tolerate this. Although these slaves, in terms of humanity, are your brothers and people of equal status. Now, the thing you cannot tolerate for yourself, how can you tolerate it for Allah, that the creation of Allah, who are not even equal to Him in kind, but are His creation and owned by Him, are made partners in Allah’s authority? What a fraudulent division this is.
