سُوْرَةُ اٰلِ عِمْرٰنَ
Surah Aal-i-Imraan (3) — Ayah 95
قُلْ صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ ۗ فَٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ﴿95﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Allâh has spoken the truth; follow the religion of Ibrâhîm (Abraham) Hanîfa (Islâmic Monotheism, i.e. he used to worship Allâh Alone), and he was not of Al-Mushrikûn " (See V.2:105)

Say, "Allah has spoken the truth. So follow the way of Abraham [83], who turned away from all others towards Allah, and he was not among those who associated partners with Him."

Creed and Shariah:
By “Millat-e-Ibrahim” is meant the fundamental matters of religion which have been revealed to every prophet. For example, worshipping only Allah, considering Him as One without any partner, and not bowing in submission before any other power besides Him. Considering only Allah as the authority to declare things lawful or unlawful, and having faith in the law of reward and punishment in the Hereafter just as it is explained in the Book of Allah, etc. As for the legal issues or Shariah, they have differed according to the needs of each era. The permissibility and prohibition of food and drink are also among such issues, and changes have occurred in them.
