Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

82. Then whoever turns away after this, they are the defiantly disobedient [72].

Why the Bible is Unreliable:

Even after this firm covenant and these glad tidings, if someone chooses the path of prejudice, considers himself the exclusive authority over religion, and girds himself for opposition, then what could be a greater act of disobedience than this? Understand it like this: when Christians are told that you should believe in the Quran because it confirms your book, the Gospel, they reply that the Quran neither confirms the doctrine of the divinity of Christ, nor accepts the sonship of Christ, nor the doctrine of the Trinity, nor the atonement of Christ. Whereas all these are proven from our Gospels. Then how can we believe in your Quran and how can we consider it a revealed book? In other words, the very false and misleading beliefs which the Quran was revealed to correct, to present the true doctrine of monotheism, and to clarify the truth and falsehood and decide their disputes—these people are so attached to those false beliefs, and the blindfold of religious prejudice is so tightly bound over their eyes, that they take those very false beliefs as the original foundation and begin to deny the Quran itself. Whereas such false beliefs were added into the Gospels by their scholars centuries later, and this collection became so mixed up with revealed and interpolated material that for later scholars the matter became doubtful, and it became difficult to separate the original revealed content from the rest. The same happened with the Torah. There are still many internal evidences in the Bible today which clearly show that this text cannot be revealed, but has been added by people, and we have mentioned such evidences elsewhere as well. In comparison, the integrity of the Quran is acknowledged even among other religions. Then how astonishing is it that such altered books are taken as the original standard and the Noble Quran is denied.
