Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

The Angels Speaking to Lady Maryam:

From this verse, it is understood that during the days when Lady Maryam (Mary) ؑ used to reside in the chamber of the temple, engaged in the worship of Allah, the angels would converse with her. It was the angels who informed Lady Maryam ؑ of how merciful her Lord was to her and that He had granted her superiority and preference over all the women of the worlds. Accordingly, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Among men, many have attained perfection, but among women, none have attained perfection except Maryam ؑ bint ‘Imran and Asiyah, the wife of Pharaoh."

Along with this, the angels also instructed Lady Maryam ؑ that, as a form of gratitude, she should become even more obedient to Allah Almighty and, in the mosque where the congregation would gather, she should also join and be regular in performing the congregational prayer.
