Surah Aal-i-Imraan (3) — Ayah 35

إِذْ قَالَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُ عِمْرَٰنَ رَبِّ إِنِّى نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا فِى بَطْنِى مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّىٓ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ﴿35﴾
(Remember) when the wife of ‘Imrân said: "O my Lord! I have vowed to You what (the child that) is in my womb to be dedicated for Your services (free from all worldly work; to serve Your Place of worship), so accept this from me. Verily, You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knowing."
إِذْ idh When
قَالَتِ qālati [she] said
ٱمْرَأَتُ im'ra-atu (the) wife
عِمْرَٰنَ ʿim'rāna (of) Imran
رَبِّ rabbi My Lord
إِنِّى innī Indeed, I
نَذَرْتُ nadhartu [I] vowed
لَكَ laka to You
مَا what
فِى (is) in
بَطْنِى baṭnī my womb
مُحَرَّرًۭا muḥarraran dedicated
فَتَقَبَّلْ fataqabbal so accept
مِنِّىٓ ۖ minnī from me
إِنَّكَ innaka Indeed, You
أَنتَ anta You
ٱلسَّمِيعُ l-samīʿu (are) the All-Hearing
ٱلْعَلِيمُ l-ʿalīmu the All-Knowing
