سُوْرَةُ اٰلِ عِمْرٰنَ
Surah Aal-i-Imraan (3) — Ayah 115
وَمَا يَفْعَلُوا۟ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَلَن يُكْفَرُوهُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِٱلْمُتَّقِينَ ﴿115﴾

And whatever good they do, nothing will be rejected of them; for Allâh knows well those who are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - See V.2:2).

Previous Sins Are Forgiven Upon Accepting Islam, But the Reward for Good Deeds Will Be Granted:
That is, the fair-minded people among the People of the Book who have embraced Islam will be rewarded for the good deeds they performed before accepting Islam. Because there are two benefits of accepting Islam, and these are established from authentic ahadith. First, that the sins committed before accepting Islam are forgiven, and second, that the good deeds performed before accepting Islam are preserved, meaning they will also be rewarded for the good deeds done during the period of disbelief. And the case of disbelievers is the opposite: their good deeds are wasted and their sins remain obligatory upon them.
