Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

11. Their case is like that of the people of Pharaoh and those before them. They denied Our signs, so Allah seized them for their sins. And Allah is severe in punishment.

Prophecy Regarding the Disbelievers:

In these two verses, Allah Almighty has warned all disbelievers—whether they were the polytheists, the Jews of Madinah, the hypocrites and polytheists of Madinah, or the Christians who had taken a stand against Islam—that they should desist from enmity towards Islam, otherwise, just as the people of Pharaoh and the nations of ‘Ad, Thamud, etc., were destroyed, the same fate awaits them. Allah Almighty seized them as a consequence of their disbelief and sins, and He will seize you as well, for Allah leaves nothing lacking in punishing those who are hostile to His Muslim servants.
