فَإِذَا رَكِبُوا۟ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ دَعَوُا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّىٰهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْبَرِّ إِذَا هُمْ يُشْرِكُونَ ﴿65﴾
And when they embark on a ship, they invoke Allâh, making their Faith pure for Him only: but when He brings them safely to land, behold, they give a share of their worship to others.
فَإِذَا fa-idhā And when
رَكِبُوا۟ rakibū they embark
فِى [in]
ٱلْفُلْكِ l-ful'ki the ship
دَعَوُا۟ daʿawū they call
ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah
مُخْلِصِينَ mukh'liṣīna (being) sincere
لَهُ lahu to Him
ٱلدِّينَ l-dīna (in) the religion
فَلَمَّا falammā But when
نَجَّىٰهُمْ najjāhum He delivers them
إِلَى ilā to
ٱلْبَرِّ l-bari the land
إِذَا idhā behold
هُمْ hum they
يُشْرِكُونَ yush'rikūna associate partners (with Him)
