Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

And if you ask them, “Who sends down water from the sky and revives the earth with it after its death?” they will surely say, “Allah.” Say, “All praise [96] is due to Allah.” But most of them do not understand.

[96] In the sending down of rain from the sky upon the earth, and then the bringing forth of vegetation from the earth, a vast number of Allah's creatures are engaged in this process. Then, the benefits that are obtained from this rain—when one reflects upon them, the tongue of a person spontaneously utters the praise of Allah. And in the Arabic language, the phrase "Alhamdulillah" has another usage: when an argument is presented to the opposing party that is accepted by them, yet they act contrary to it, then "Alhamdulillah" is said as a means of establishing proof against them. In this verse, the word "Alhamdulillah" is used in both of its meanings.
