Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

52. Say, “Allah is sufficient as a witness between me and you. He knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth. And those who believe in falsehood and disbelieve in Allah—it is they who are the losers.” [84]

[84] The disbelievers of Makkah acknowledged the existence of Allah and His attributes as the Creator and Owner. Therefore, it was said to them: Say to them, if I am claiming prophethood and fabricating a lie against Him, then it should have been that He destroyed me, but in reality, He is increasing me and my companions day by day. Then He has also given me a miracle, which you are unable to answer. So, is Allah’s testimony regarding my prophethood not sufficient? Yes, if a person has resolved never to accept the truth, that is another matter, and this is the greatest misfortune and most harmful thing for a person.
