سُوْرَةُ الْعَنْكَبُوْتِ
Surah Al-Ankaboot (29) — Ayah 27
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَـٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِى ذُرِّيَّتِهِ ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُ أَجْرَهُۥ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ ﴿27﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
And We bestowed on him [Ibrâhîm (Abraham)], Ishâq (Isaac) and Ya‘qûb (Jacob), and We ordained among his offspring Prophethood and the Book [i.e. the Taurât (Torah) (to Mûsâ - Moses), the Injeel (Gospel) (to ‘Îsâ - Jesus), and the Qur’ân (to Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), all from the offspring of Ibrâhîm (Abraham)], and We granted him his reward in this world; and verily, in the Hereafter he is indeed among the righteous.

27. And We granted him Isaac, and (from Isaac) Jacob, and placed prophethood [42] and the Book among his descendants. And We gave him his reward in this world, and surely in the Hereafter [43] he will be among the righteous.

Allah’s Kindnesses Upon Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him):
Whatever periods of trial came upon Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him), he remained successful in all of them. When he migrated, he had no children until that time. For leaving his home, homeland, and relatives, Allah granted him children so that his heart would find comfort. Furthermore, He bestowed this favor that prophethood was made exclusive to his family. All the prophets who came after him were from his lineage. That is why he is also called Abu al-Anbiya (the father of the prophets). Among them, only the last Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was sent from the descendants of Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him), while all the rest were from Hazrat Ishaq (peace be upon him), in fact from his son Hazrat Yaqub (peace be upon him), who is also called Israel.
[43] In this world, one reward was that prophethood was made exclusive to his family, and the second reward was that he was made the leader and guide of all people. This is the reason that he is equally respected among Jews, Christians, Muslims, and even among many other religions; even the polytheists of Makkah used to associate themselves with him. Allah’s further kindness upon him was that He left his good mention among them until the end of the world. In the Ummah of Muhammad, this good mention is in the form that it is obligatory upon every Muslim to send blessings upon him in every prayer. And in the Hereafter, he was included among the highest ranks of the righteous (which is the group of the resolute prophets).
