Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

80. But those who had been given knowledge said, The reward of Allah is better for those who believe and do righteous deeds, and it is granted only to those who are patient." [109]

The Knowledge Meant Here is the Knowledge of Shari’ah:

That is, those who understand that, compared to the success of the Hereafter, no matter how much worldly wealth and means one has, it holds no real value. Such knowledgeable people said to those who were impressed by Qarun and his pomp, your love for this world is a dangerous delusion and mistake. True success is not of this world, but the success and reward of the Hereafter, which will be given to faithful and righteous people.

The Broad Meaning of Patience:

Here, patience is used in a very broad sense. To keep oneself bound to earning only through lawful means is also patience. To cheerfully endure the difficulties faced in the path of Allah is also patience. Not to be enamored by worldly grandeur and splendor is also patience. And to make salvation and success in the Hereafter one’s goal and to keep oneself bound to the commands of Allah is also patience. That is, the reward and success of the Hereafter will be the share of those who, in this world, demonstrated patience, steadfastness, and perseverance.
