Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

And We made them leaders inviting to the Fire, and on the Day of Resurrection they will not be helped.

[53]
Pharaoh was the leader of the deniers of the truth:

That is, he set an example for all deniers of the truth and followers of falsehood, showing by what various excuses and pretexts the truth can be rejected. What tricks can be used to persist in the denial of the truth and to remain obstinate until the very end. What kinds of oppression can be inflicted upon the followers of the truth and how the truth can be suppressed. He demonstrated all these methods to those who came after him, and then he departed towards Hell, and today’s polytheists of Makkah are adopting his ways and are heading towards the same destination. Then, just as Pharaoh showed the enemies of the truth the path to Hell in this world, in the same way, on the Day of Resurrection, he will also lead the people of Hell. He will bring them to Hell and will himself be leading them. As Allah Almighty has clearly stated this in Surah Hud, verse number 98.

[54] That is, in this world, Pharaoh and his courtiers were very proud of their armies and troops. And it was these armies and troops that had corrupted their minds. However, their armies were of no use to them at the time of their drowning; rather, they drowned along with them. So, on the Day of Resurrection, these armies will also be of no use to them. Nor will they be able to escape the punishment of Hell by any other means.
