And when he attained his full strength, and was perfect (in manhood), We bestowed on him Hukm (Prophethood and right judgement of the affairs) and religious knowledge [of the religion of his forefathers i.e. Islâmic Monotheism]. Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

And when Musa reached his full strength and maturity, We gave him wisdom [21] and knowledge. And thus do We reward those who do good.

The Teaching of Modern Sciences and Principles of Governance at Pharaoh’s Court:

In childhood, you were provided with a purely religious environment. Thus, you became acquainted with the teachings of Hazrat Yaqub ؑ and Yusuf ؑ. Your parents’ household was a noble and religious one, and the habits and traits a child learns at that age remain prominent throughout his life. After this, you became a member of the royal family, so you benefited from the modern sciences prevalent in Egypt and also independently derived the principles of governance and rulership, because you possessed God-given intelligence. At this point, “health and knowledge” does not refer to prophethood, because prophethood was granted to you much later.
